2011 Minnesota Twins - New York Rangers Series

Minnesota Twins and Texas RangersThe Minnesota Twins and Texas Rangers were winners of their respective divisions in the American League in the 2009-2010 season. The Twins were eliminated by the New York Yankees in the ALDS while the Texas Rangers advanced all the way to the World Series before losing to the San Francisco Giants. In the 2011 season, the Texas Rangers will be visiting Target Field from Thursday, June 9 to Sunday, June 12. The tickets for that series will go quickly as both are expected to once again compete for the World Series. Purchase your Minnesota Twins tickets with Ticket King!

Minnesota Twins 2011 Season: Top Series Picks White Sox

Another 2011 Minnesota Twins series I am looking forward is the June 14-16 series when the Chicago White Sox are at Target Field. The Twins White Sox rivalry always makes for a fun time at the ball park sharing a beer with your buddies. Chicago won't be in Minneapolis until mid-June and, at this time, the weather is gorgeous and the rivalry's staring to heat up as the division standings start to separate the winners from the losers. This is a MUST BUY Twins Ticket and all real baseball fans will be at Target Field.

I am interested to know which series you are most looking forward to in 2011. I will most likely be getting tickets to the Athletics, Yankees and White Sox games, but what games are you buying for? Let me know!

Minnesota Twins 2011 Season: Top Series Picks

The weather in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area is sub-par at best, but that hasn't stopped my mind from wandering to the cool 55 degree weather that is associated with Minnesota Twins baseball at Target Field in April.

In fact, if I weren't thinking about the upcoming, no matter how distant, season change, I may need to pack up my things and abandon the Minnesota tundra all together. But, no worries... I love the Minnesota Twins and would bear these sub-zero temperatures for them any day of the average-temperature-is-negative-fifteen week.

I haven't decided which series the Twins will be a part of that I am most excited for. There is the standard Yankee-Twins match-up that always gets fans stirring, but until we beat those guys post-season, a win in the regular season will do very little for our World Series aspirations. Fans need to be thinking more long-term. Of course there are the Boston Red Sox who have picked up several key players in recent winter meetings. The Twins will be playing at Fenway Park in Boston May 6-9 -- those games would definitely be something to consider if you are heading out east in the spring. Boston Red Sox Tickets can be found on local sites like Ticket King if you need them.

Of course the opening Twins series against the Oakland Athletics will have all the luster of any home-opening series, though it will probably pale in comparison to last year's where Target Field erupted with applause at a passing rain shower during the second game of the season. Nonetheless, outdoor baseball is back for year two at Target Field and I can't wait!
