Minnesota says goodbye to Twins player Michael Cuddyer as he goes to the Rockies

It's a sad day for Minnesota Twins fans of Michael Cuddyer. It seems that now that (former) Twins player Michael Cuddyer has his own Twins, he doesn't need the Minnesota Twins anymore. His twin daughters were born on December 6, 2011, and on December 16, 2011, it was confirmed that Michael Cuddyer and the Colorado Rockies have agreed to a deal.

The Rockies Cuddyer deal is said to be worth about $31 million for a three-year free agent deal. Cuddyer has played on the Minnesota Twins team for his whole MLB career. He is a fan favorite, and very involved in the community. Michael Cuddyer was a first round draft pick in 1997. It's sad to see him go, but I wish him the best and would love to see him go on and get a ring for himself.

I long for the days when players would stay on one team for their whole career, it's hard to watch your favorites leave.

Good Luck, Cuddy, and maybe we'll see you in the playoffs!

Minnesota Twins are Still a Hot Ticket

Now that the NBA Finals are done with it, there really is nothing else to do but watch baseball. Clearly the best baseball you're going to get is at the state of the arts Target Field watching the Minnesota Twins. Joe Mauer is back and Jason Kubel is getting healthy too. With Justin Morneau, Delmon Young, Denard Span, and Kevin Slowey on the disabled list, we're getting a chance to watch a ton of young players blossom before our eyes. More specifically, we have been watching Ben Revere blossom before our eyes. The idea of him and Span batting first and second on a team is really exciting. They both have the ability to hit for a high average and both have very good eyes at the plate, Span especially. Defensively that will be very exciting as well since both players cover a ton of ground in the outfield. It should be better for the team as well since Delmon Young was not playing well anyways so might as well plug two guys into the lineup who can hit .300 and steal bases.

Twins are Surging and Gain Plenty of Ground in AL Central Race

Twins fans! The season is no longer lost. The Minnesota Twins have won 14 of 16 games and are right in the thick of things when it comes down to the AL Central race. The Twins have some cup cake series coming up once they get past the defending World Champion San Francisco Giants. The Twins will then have series against the struggling Los Angeles Dodgers and the much less daunting Milwaukee Brewers. It's summer and it's starting to heat up so a trip to Target field is the best thing in the whole entire world. The warm, fresh air and good baseball is the ultimate antidote to a hard days work.

A little birdie told me that Ticket King has unbelievable packages for Twins for the rest of the summer. Feel free to check those out and buy some Twins tickets today!

Twins Slump Drives Down Ticket Prices

No matter how big of fan I am of the Minnesota Twins, I can't deny they are in a slump this season. Not only are their losses affecting fan morale, but according to my friend at Ticket King, their current record is actually driving down ticket prices.

Take advantage of the Twins' weak record. Target Field is still a great place to see and with the weather as nice as it is buying tickets really is a great deal!

Top 2011 Minnesota Twins Series

Clayton Kershaw of the Los Angeles Dodgers The Minnesota Twins will be hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday, June 27th thru Wednesday, June 29th. In my opinion this is the top series I am looking forward to and I encourage every Minnesota Twins fan to get tickets for this matchup. I mean, how often are the Dodgers in town? I have never seen the Dodgers in person and I think that adds to the "wow" factor. Playing a team based in Los Angeles, California is fun especially the history that the franchise has. Purchase your Minnesota Twins vs Los Angeles Dodgers tickets today with Ticket King!!

Minnesota TwinsFest 2011 Ticket Information

Minnesota TwinsFest 2011The 2011 Minnesota Twins Season is still 3 months away. However, with Minnesota TwinsFest, every fan will feel like the season has started. The event was moved to Blaine after the Metrodome's roof collapsed in Minneapolis. That didn't change any fans desires to attend the event. In fact, the team says that it has sold out the team's annual festival after capping the number of tickets at 25,000 because of the venue change. The team says it has never limited the number of tickets to TwinsFest before, but was compelled to do so because of the move to the Sports Center.

The event runs Friday, Jan. 28 to Sunday, Jan. 30. More than 60 current, former and future team players are expected to appear during the course of the weekend. TwinsFest is an annual fundraiser for the Minnesota Twins Community Fund. Keep your eyes pealed on Craigslist and Ebay if you are interested in repurchasing a Minnesota TwinsFest ticket.
