2009 Minnesota Twins Tickets Recap...

Twins Yankees Series
This time of year it seems that everyone is writing recaps of the year, Top 10 Lists and Most Likely Statements for next year... I wouldn't want the world to be without a 2009 Twins Ticket Recap. So here goes: The Most Expensive Ticket Buys for 2009 for Minnesota Sports Tickets were (drum roll please) Twins Yankees Tickets! and don't forget the 2009 MLB Playoff games at the HHH Metrodome - they weren't cheap either.

As a Minnesota Twins Tickets follower I was excited to hear that Twins Yankees made the list, though I have to admit I was a little surprised considering that The Minnesota Vikings signed Brett Favre and the Minnesota Wild added lots of new players and a new coach. Despite all of the changes in Minnesota Sports in 2009, the Twins Yankees Tickets were among the most expensive and sought after sports tickets purchased this year. What does that mean for Minnesota Twins Tickets next year? Twins Tickets will likely be more expensive... not only will the Twins be playing at the new Target Field (which on its own will raise ticket demand) but with the strong finish to last years season the Minnesota Twins will be a hot ticket buy this spring.

My advice, as always... Buy Minnesota Twins Tickets early!!

Minnesota Twins Tickets at GREAT prices online!

I was doing some looking online for Minnesota Twins Tickets and have found some great deals on Twins Tickets at Ticket King... If you still have any Holiday Shopping left I would suggest looking into Minnesota Twins Tickets.

There are Twins Tickets for Opening Day starting at less than $200. Ticket King also has great right above the dugout for around $500... which may seem like a lot to spend on Minnesota Twins Tickets, but think about the history that is going to be made with the opening of the return to outdoor baseball in the Twin Cities... these Twins Tickets are an investment in history and will be worth every penny!

Holiday Gift Shopping made simple, Buy Minneosta Twins Tickets

Holiday's are a time for cookies, cheer and carols. They are also a time for loud malls, long lines and lame sales people pestering you. This year instead of spending hours at the mall trying to figure out what to get everyone.

My holiday shopping list looks like this:
Mom: Minnesota Twins Tickets
Dad: Twins Tickets for Target Field
Brother: MN Twins Tickets
Best Friend: Twins Tickets
Dog: Twins Tickets.... getting the picture?
The way I see, everyone who has ever even heard of the Minnesota Twins will be eager to get sneak peak at Target Field, the brand new outdoor home of the Twins. And by buying everyone on my list Twins Tickets I avoid the mall and get a gift that ends up being once for them and twice for me.My advice this Holiday Season, avoid the mall and go online... everyone loves Minnesota Twins Tickets!

The Official Countdown to Target Field has begun!

It is that time of year when countdowns begin... Kids Countdown Days until Christmas Vacation, Parents Countdown Days until their Kids go back to school, Companies Countdown the days left in the fiscal year... and I am counting down the days until the Target Field Grand Opening!

That is right Twins Fans, it has gotten close enough to the start of the 2010 Baseball Season to start counting down days until the Minnesota Twins start their home season at Target Field.

(drumroll, please!) There are now 143 Days until Target Field welcomes the Minnesota Twins roster into their new homes! What does this mean for Target Field Ticket sales? Every day that comes off the Target Field ticket counter, means a few more pennies that you will have to spend on Target Field Tickets. My prediction is when the Countdown hits 100 days (around the first of the year) Twins Tickets Sales will sky-rocket! If you want to avoid spending a fortune on Twins Tickets, I suggest buying soon!

Spotted, Minnesota Twins at Target Field Tickets already onsale at Ticket King

I know that for Minnesota Twins fans the baseball season is already over and it is almost too painful to even speak of America's Favorite Past time right now... but Sports Fans, dry those eyes and cheer up! Just today I was doing some looking online for baseball tickets and I happened upon the Ticket King website. Ticket King, for those of you that don't know Ticket King is an local ticket company that provides the best seats for great deals to TONS of sporting, concert and theatre events.

Ok so back to the MN Twins, Ticket King has seats in ROW ONE, that's right Twinkie Lovers, you could be in Row 1 with nothing in between you and Target Field... but trust me when I say that there is NO way these seats will last until Christmas, my prediction is that everyone will be giving Target Field Tickets as gifts this Holiday Season. So my advice, buy now before these great Target Field Twins Tickets get scooped up!!

Minnesota Twins Tickets Are No More (until next season that is)

I had you worried didn't I? It is true, with the loss last Sunday to the New York Yankees, the Minnesota Twins Tickets Market has been put on hold. Single game tickets for next season at Target Field will not be released until much closer to the 2010 Minnesota Twins Season Opener.

In the mean time the 2010 Minnesota Twins Schedule has been posted and it is never to early to start planning which games you will be making an appearance at. I've already marked several dates off my calendar.

A few dates to keep in mind:
April 12: Target Field Opener, Twins vs. Red Sox
May 3: Twins vs. Tigers
May 25: Twins vs. Yankees (watch out Yankees!)

Twins Tickets are hotter than MN Wild Home Opener Tickets.. What a great day to be a Minnesota Sports Fan

The MN Twins pitcher throwing over home plate
Most people would agree that Minnesota does not top the list of Professional Sports Meccas... in fact, for most people we probably don't even make the list. However, the past week has been some of the best displays of Minnesotan Pro-Sports in a LONG time.

1) The Vikings spanked the Green Bay Packers
2) The Minnesota Wild are having a pretty decent pre-season and critics are saying that tonight's home opener should be a good one
and 3) the Minnesota Twins are playing for the AL Central Division Title in just a few short hours!

That's right sports fans, the Minnesota Twins did it... they are a game away from the postseason and demand for Twins Tickets has NEVER been higher (well maybe not never, but certainly in a while!!) I for one really thought that the Twin Cities sports fans would be fairly split between the Wild and the Twinkies, but people have decided that with a full season ahead for the MN Wild, Minnesota Twins Tickets are the hottest buy in town. I did some looking and online ticket brokers like Ticket King still have decent seats... If they win tonight and go into the postseason, I would suggest looking to these sites for the best deals (why wait in an online lottery?)

Lets go Twins!!

Goodbye HHH Metrodome, Hello Target Field

The Twins played their last home game at the HHH Metrodome yesterday and there was a bittersweet excitement that filled the Metrodome. Although the Twins had a great season it was sad to see it go. And even though the new Target Field is going to be great, it will be hard to step inside and not miss the Metrodome just a little.

However after watching the video below of Target Field, the new home of the Minnesota Twins I think that it is time to say "thanks for the memories but I'm moving on up"... watch the video and start to get excited, the 2010 Twins season is only half a year away!

Minnesota Twins vs. Kansas City Royals

The Day is finally here... the LAST HOME SERIES AT THE HHH METRODOME. The Minnesota Twins take on the Kansas City Royals starting tomorrow at 7:10 p.m. and then in 3 short days Twins Tickets will no longer say HHH Metrodome on them, and I for one am going to be a little lost without that.

As you can imagine, Twins-Royals Tickets are very hard to come by but can be found if you are willing to do the footwork. I found tickets online at Ticket King but my guess is that they will go fast. With the last 3 Twins games ever to be played at the Metrodome, Twins fans will be out in mass to say goodbye to the long-time home of our beloved team. My guess is that if you buy seats near the 1st baseline you will most likely be rubbing elbows with former twins and a veritable who's who of the Twin Cities. However these 1st baseline Twins Tickets are going to be extremely hard to get your hands on, so if you are holding on to any extra wishes, chances or lucky pennies it is time to get them out and start praying!

Good Luck finding Twins-Royals Tickets and GO TWINS!

Just One Minnesota Twins Home Series Left

I've been writing about it all summer and yet somehow it seemed like more of a reality in June than it does now. The Minnesota Twins are just two road series (6 days) away from returning home and starting the last Home Series at the Metrodome they will ever play.

As you can imagine, mostly because I've been telling you all summer, Minnesota Twins Tickets are hard to come by right now. I've done some looking and have found great deals on local ticket brokerage websites, Ticket King has Minnesota Twins Tickets listed for as cheap as $25 bucks and ranging in the $100 plus area for the some of the best seats in the Dome. You can be sure though that these "cheap seats" will not last until next weekend when the games are, if you plan on saying goodbye to the Metrodome along side the Minnesota Twins I suggest as soon as you are done reading this sentence you find tickets online and purchase.

See you at the Metrodome One Last Time!

Minnesota Twins vs. Detroit Tigers

MN Twins player diving for a ball
Home Series Left: 2

Ability to find Twins Tickets: Getting Harder

Demand for Detroit Tigers-Minnesota Twins Tickets: VERY HIGH

Suggestion from Me to You: BUY TWINS TICKETS NOW.... With this week's series against the Detroit Tigers and the last Metrodome Home Series against the Kansas City Royals in two weeks If you have the chance to Buy Twins Tickets from anyone I suggest you do it... First and foremost because you should go to these last games at the HHH Metrodome, it has been good to our MN Twins throughout the years and we owe it a packed house. But Secondly, because even if you can not go to the game there are lots of opportunities to re-sell tickets. Local ticket brokerages like Ticket King, are likely to purchase Twins Tickets as their inventory goes down. I was looking at Twins-Tigers Tickets earlier and there were still some seats online on the 1st base line and in general admission, but if these seats are even still left the prices are sure to start going up.

Let me know if you find sites that are buying or selling Twins Tickets and I will check them out and add them into my next posts... LETS GO TWINS!

Minnesota Twins vs. Cleveland Indians

It is down to the final countdown of home series left in the Metrodome of the Minnesota Twins and Twins Tickets are going faster than ever because of it! The Twins take on the Cleveland Indians in a 3 game series starting Monday September 14th.

I couldn't remeber if I had Indians-Twins Tickets the last time the Cleveland Indians were here so I did some looking to try and jog my memory... I went to MinnesotaTwinsFan.blogspot.com to read a game review and was reminded why I "couldn't remember" I had blocked out the last Indians-Twins series, although we did win 2 of the 3 games, the Twins had one of their ugliest losses a 1-10 whopper in the 2nd game of the series, I don't think I even went to the 3rd game.

This time around if I can get my hands on Twins-Indians Tickets there is no way that I will be skipping the game there are only 2 more home series left at the HHH Metrodome and I for one want to be at both. If you are looking to buy Royals-Twins Tickets I hope you have a little magic up your sleeve because all Twins Home Tickets left are getting spendy and hard to find. If I hear of any great deals I'll post here first!

Minnesota Twins vs. Oakland A's

Oakland A's at bat
The Minnesota Twins take on the Oakland A's later this week and Twins Fans across the Cities are holding their breath. The last time the two teams faced-off in July the Oakland A's swept the Twins all 3 games and Twins fans couldn't give their A's Tickets away fast enough...

With the Twins now playing their last few games at the Metrodome, fans are hopeful that the last bits of Metrodome Magic will come out of the rafters and help the Twins take the A's this time around. Minnesota-Oakland Tickets are probably going to be dependent on the first game of the series which is Friday, September 11th at 7:10. If the Minnesota Twins pull out a victory on Friday, Twins Tickets for Saturday and Sunday will be hard to come by. In contrast, if you buy Twins-A's tickets early and the games go well you should have no trouble selling tickets online or to brokers like Ticket King, which has a great location just a short walk away from the Metrodome.

Like I tell you every week, the closer the last game at the Metrodome gets the harder it is going to be to get Twins Tickets, so buy soon if you plan on being there!

Minnesota Twins vs. Chicago White Sox

MN Twins pitcher
The Team that makes the Minnesota Twins look great is back in town. The Minnesota Twins take on the Chicago White Sox August 31-September 2. Twins-White Sox Tickets are already on sale and are going fast.

Twins-White Sox Tickets are always big sellers because of the proximity of Chicago to Minneapolis and the unspoken competition to be the "best big city" in the midwest. I think that Chicago White Sox and non-Twin Cities Twins fans will make this 3 game series a end of summer mini-vacation. I'm guessing that these out of towners will buy Sox-Twins tickets for all 3 games and then explore the cities in between games, hitting up hot spots like Tsunami Sushi and Salut.

I did some looking online and found tickets for all 3 games but the awesome ticket deals of early summer are getting fewer and farther between, if you plan on going to the Chicago White Sox- Minnesota Twins game or any of the rest of the home games in the Twins Season I suggest buying tickets now before they are gone!

Minnesota Twins vs. Texas Rangers

The Texas Rangers will be in Minnesota this week to take on the Minnesota Twins. The two teams met early this month for a 3 game series in Texas. The last series was a great road win for the Twins. I'm predicting that with just over a month left of games in the HHH Metrodome that Twins-Rangers tickets will be go fast!

Minnesota Twins Tickets have been a hot buy all summer and are only going to get hotter as the season nears an end, especially if Joe Mauer continues to be as white-hot as he has been recently. If you are interested in buying MN Twins vs. TX Rangers tickets I would suggest looking online first, instead of trying to purchase day of at the Metrodome. I have found lots of great ticket deals that make season ticket seats affordable. Twins bloggers, like MinnesotaTwinsFan.blogspot.com are talking about finding Home Run Porch and Season Tickets online.

Minnesota Twins vs. Baltimore Orioles Series

MN Twins player up to bat
The Minnesota Twins start a 3-game series with the Baltimore Orioles Monday, August 24th. All 3 games will be at night, meaning that Twins vs. Orioles tickets will be harder to come by because night games often sell out. With the HHH Metrodome located conveniently downtown and great eateries close by many downtown workers pick up Twins Tickets over their lunch break and then just stay downtown after work. A new favorite place of mine, though it is a little ways from the Metrodome is Bar Lucrat, try the french fries they will change your life. If you are more of a baseball traditionalist and want to eat at the Dome, I suggest the Dome Dog a classic that can not be rivaled.

The last time the Baltimore Orioles played the Minnesota Twins, the Baltimore Orioles won both games... meaning that Joe Mauer and the rest of the Twins will be out for revenge! Tickets for the Orioles-Twins games are available online. I saw on Ticket King Online there are still great seats left on the Home Run Porch, but my guess is that as the season winds down more and more people will get nostalgic about the last games in the Metrodome and Twins Tickets will go fast... Buy Now!
